Last week on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, the Legends headed for the Apollo 13 mission because Nate's (Nick Zano) grandfather, Commander Steel, hid a piece of the spear. Ray snuck into the mission and discovered that Thawne took out the 2 astronauts to get to the moon (where the piece was hidden). Thawne and Ray (Matt Letscher, Brandon Routh) had to work together to get back to Earth alive. Commander Steel sacrificed himself for the mission. Stein and Mick (Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell) sang to distract NASA.
